The reservation will be confirmed once Varenna Holidays will have received the deposit amount or the entire due amount of the reservation based on the booking conditions.
The terms of payment are indicated at the time of booking.
Should a reservation be made up to 7 days prior to the arrival date, the 30% of the total amount will be due at the time of booking. Any outstanding balance will be due 7 days prior to the check-in date. The City Tax amount will be due at check in when the keys are collected.
Should the reservation be made less than 7 days prior to the check in date, the total amount will be due at the time of booking. The City Tax will be due at check in when the keys are collected.
The payment can be made via bank transfer (wire transfer), PayPal or credit card.
The user must check carefully all the details of the estimate given before making a payment to Varenna Holidays and must inform them immediately in case of mistakes or negligence.
It is possible to modify the reservation for free by contacting immediately Varenna Holidays via email.
Should the changes be made a few days before the arrival date, the said changes will be evaluated by the staff based on the cancellation policy.
It is possible to cancel the reservation in accordance with the cancellation policy described in the booking confirmation email. The cancellation will be effective once that Varenna Holidays has received the written request by the guests.
Varenna Holidays will refund any amount to guests in accordance with the cancellation policy. In the case that any outstanding balance is not paid within the established terms/due date, or the guest does not arrive in the accommodation within 24 hours from the scheduled check in without informing Varenna Holidays (no call, no show), the management company has the right to consider the reservation annulled by the guest Based on this, the cancellation policy terms will be applied.

Once you make a reservation, you will receive the instructions to activate your account in which you will need to register the documents of ALL the guests that will stay at the property.

BY CAR:- From Milan: Take SS36 toward Monza/Lecco. Once in Lecco, take the exit Abbadia L./ Mandello/ Varenna and continue on SP72 for about 14 km. You will go through Abbadia Lariana, Mandello del Lario, Lierna e Fiumelatte. After passing through Fiumelatte, take a left toward Varenna/Parking, and continue straight.
We recommend you to park at the multilevel parking garage located on the right side (Viale Giovanni Polvani,1). Park the car and walk toward Via IV Novembre e Via Venini, our office is located at Via Venini n. 138. - From Sondrio: Take SS36 toward Lecco. After you have driven through the town of Dervio, take the exit toward Bellano, and follow the directions toward the town of Bellano. At the stop sign in conjunction with SP72, take a left. Continue on SP72 and at the roundabout take the first exit toward Perledo (the small tunnel along the lake) and continue on the main road for approximately 1km, passing through Viale dei Giardini and Via Venini. Our office is located in Via Venini, 138. - Train stop: Varenna Esino
- From the train station of Varenna Esino, follow the road downhill toward Varenna. Past the pedestrian area, take a right. At the stop sign in proximity of Hotel Beretta, take a left and continue on Via Venini for approximately 150 m. Varenna Holidays’ office is located in Via Venini 138 and you will find it on your left.
- With public transportation: from the Milano Malpensa airport take the Malpensa Shuttle bus or the Malpensa Express train for the Milan Train Station. From the Milan Central Station take the train toward SONDRIO or TIRANO and get off at the VARENNA ESINO train station. Follow the steps as indicated in the section BY TRAIN.
- With a taxi: our office is located in Varenna, Via Venini, 138.
- With a car: follow the steps indicated in BY CAR FROM MILAN
- With public transportation: from Linate airport take the bus ‘Linate Shuttle’ that will take you to Milan Central Train Station. From Milan Central Train Station take the train toward SONDRIO or TIRANO and get off at VARENNA ESINO. Follow the steps indicated in the section BY TRAIN.
- With a taxi: our office is located in Varenna, Via Venini, 138.
- With a car: follow the steps indicated in BY CAR FROM MILAN
- With public transportation: from Orio Al Serio airport, take the bus ‘Bergamo Città Alta’ and will take you to Bergamo Train Station. From there, take the train toward LECCO. Once in Lecco, change train and take the one that will stop in Varenna route MILANO-SONDRIO/TIRANO, and get off at the train stop of VARENNA/ESINO. Follow the steps as indicated in the section BY TRAIN.

- With a car: follow the directions toward Bergamo/Cisano Bergamasco and then toward Lecco. Once in Lecco, merge on ss36. Take the exit toward Abbadia Lariana, Mandello del Lario, Lierna e Fiumelatte. Continue on SP72 and after passing through Fiumelatte, take a left toward Varenna/Parking, and continue straight.

Take the ferry toward Varenna. From the ferry dock in Varenna follow the main road until you cross Via Venini, take a right and continue on Via Venini for approximately 150 meters. Our agency’s office is located on the left side of the road at number 138. If you arrive by car, we suggest you to drive to the multilevel parking garage that is located on your left (Viale Giovanni Polvani, 1). The check in will be at our Varenna Holidays office in Varenna, located in Via Venini 138 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
At that time, you will receive the keys to access the property, the directions to get to the apartment and other useful information during your stay. As a reminder, City tax payment will be required upon your arrival. The same will apply to any outstanding extra services, if not already paid.
If you have not done the online check in, it will be necessary to bring with you the Identity Documents (IDs) of ALL the individuals that will stay in the property.
Check in may be done between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm.
It is not possible to enter the apartment before the timeframe indicated above as to allow our cleaning crew to prepare the accommodation for your stay. It is possible to visit our office and drop off your luggage as you await to check into the property.
If your arrival time is past 6 pm, it is possible to check in independently and free of charge (self check-in). You will be given the instructions to pick up the keys and to get to the property. Based on this, it will be necessary to visit our office the day after your arrival at the accommodation to pay the outstanding City Tax. In the case of your arrival being past 6 pm, it is mandatory to do the online check in where you will register yourself and the rest of the party before you enter the property.

Check out is strictly by 10:00 am, and the keys will need to be returned to the office. Should you leave the property before the office business hours, it is possible to leave the keys in the mailbox outside the office.
Dogs are allowed in some of our accommodations. To be sure, it is possible to check the information of each property online.
Upon your arrival, you will find a courtesy kit for each guest which includes shampoo, shower gel, and hand soap. Additionally, an initial kit will be provided which includes toilet paper, coffee pods, dishwasher soap and laundry detergent in the apartments that are applicable.
